A teenage boy fatally shot himself after after he was chased by police in Chicago, authorities say.
They said the boy ran away and shot himself after they questioned him.
Emergency services took him to nearby Mount Sinai Hospital but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses said that police shot the teen and strongly denied their account of events.
Footage shows residents angrily confronting police at the residential street where the incident happened.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released details about the boy's death.
