An officer said her actions "created a substantial risk of death and resulted in serious physical injury to Jordan Holgerson."

Reckless endangerment which is punishable by up to 12 months in prison and carries a maximum fine of £3,900.

Taylor - who family recently claimed 'didn't care about what she'd done - said facing charges is "scary" and she will "accept whatever the prosecutor gives me."

Taylor said:
"I accept the charges maturely and all I can do is hope for the best for Jordan and myself."
Jordan, who initially 'didn't really want' Taylor to get into trouble recanted:
"I'm kind of wanting her to sit in jail and think about at least what she did."
"I'm in a lot of pain. In the mornings it's the worst, like it hurts to breathe. My side hurts. My shoulder hurts. I can't even get up."
Jordan suffered serious injuries in the plunge, including six broken ribs, a punctured lung and air bubbles in her chest from the fall.

Taylor admitted to pushing her but did so to help her overcome her fear and not to injure her.

Earlier Friday Taylor said she didn't consider the repercussions beforehand, adding:
"She wanted to jump and she was scared and she had asked me to give her a push, and I didn't think about the consequences."
"I thought she would be fine."
Jordan said:
"She was counting down but I didn’t think anything of it. And I was like, 'No, don’t count down, like, I won’t go if you count down. I’m not ready.' And then she pushed me."
Taylor added she "never intended to hurt" her friend, adding:
"I'm really sorry it turned out that way. I just pray that she heals and gets better."
Ashley Mahree, who recorded the video posted it with the caption:
"This could have easily taken a life, and I think this girl needs to be held accountable in some way."
"The person that pushed her should go to jail."
Although a sign at the site prohibits jumping and diving into the water, the bridge is popular among adrenaline junkies.

Kristie has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for her niece's increasing medical expenses following the plunge.

According to Clark County Fire Chief Ben Peeler, two to three injuries occur from jumping from the bridge every summer.
