Lucas Gary Narkle was caught on CCTV trying to drag and throw then his 14-year-old girlfriend in front of a moving train at Elizabeth South station in Adelaide in October last year.
The heartless 19-year-old faced the South Australian District Court on Wednesday, after earlier pleading guilty to endangering the girl's life.
He spent more than three months in prison until he was granted bail by the Supreme Court in February.
Judge Simon Stretton said on Wednesday he was unlikely to impose further jail time on Narkle.

"I have to bear in mind that his actual actions here are brief, irresponsible and didn't cause any physical harm at all."
"I think nothing is going to be served by imposing a further term of actual imprisonment but I am strongly inclined towards an extended community service work."Narkle arrived more than 30 minutes late for the hearing, blaming public transport issues for the delay, reports Australian media.
"Shout out to my boys in Yatala (Labour Prison)," was his only comment to reporters outside court.He will return to court for sentencing on Thursday.
