ROLLING UP IN THE LOCKER? FOOTBALL TEAM ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH MARIJUANA DISPENSARY

USA United Soccer League team, Las Vegas Lights become the first professional sports side in the United States to partner with a marijuana dispensary, NuWu Cannabis Marketplace.. Announcing the 'high-profile' deal on Friday, the Las Vegas Lights used the hash-tag #LightItUp and social media erupt. Can't wait to see a proper advert of this partnership not the mascot Cash the Soccer Rocker visiting the NuWu store... Does this mean free ounces of quality blow for the players?

Medicinal cannabis is legal in the state of Nevada.

Brett Lashbrook, Las Vegas Lights, said:
"We love Las Vegas. We love Downtown Las Vegas."
"We're not ashamed of where we're from. We fully embrace it. Nuwu has invested all sorts of money and resources into growing Downtown."
"It's a traditional sports sponsorship. It's in a completely regulated industry and this is part of the stigmatisation of it."
