THURSDAY Actor/Comedian, Will Ferrel was rushed to the hospital after following a two-car smash on an Orange county freeway, California. TMZ reports police sources say the SUV was hit from behind by a Toyota, causing Ferrell's SUV to spin and flip over leaving really mangled.

The actor was one of three passengers in the chauffeur-driven car. All three passengers were taken to hospital, no casualties but a woman who was in the SUV with him is understood to be more seriously injured.

Miraculously, Ferrell wasn't seriously injured as he could working his cellphone as paramedics stretchered him into an ambulance and has since been released and "doing well".

 No one has been arrested in connection with the crash, which is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
