About three people were injured after the suspect drove through cyclists and pedestrians outside one of London's most iconic locations but no one was killed.
Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner, Neil Basu, said that the suspect was "not cooperating" with police as he's currently being held at a south London police station.
No other arrests have been made as investigation is on-going.

Roger Godsiff, member of Parliament, who represents Birmingham Hall Green, tweeted that the suspect was believed to have been from his constituency.

"I have told the police and security services that they have my total support in doing whatever is necessary to protect the public in London and Birmingham."
The Ford Fiesta used in the attack was seen leaving Birmingham Monday night, arriving in London after midnight Tuesday, authorities believe. 
The lone attacker had no weapons on him nor in the car.

The official threat level for terrorism in the United Kingdom remains "severe," meaning an attack is highly likely.
