Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Dele Alli has spoken out after two masked men stormed his house to rob him at knifepoint.
The robbery incident in which he sustained some non life-threatening injuries occurred during the early hours of Wednesday at his £2m mansion in North London.
The 24-year-old was in a room with his girlfriend Ruby Mae, his adopted brother Harry, Harry’s girlfriend and another male friend when the masked invaders broke in.
They reportedly punched the England midfielder in the mouth and assaulted another man before they made away with various choice items including jewelries and watches.
He's now taken to Twitter to thank those who shared messages of support to him.
The raid comes just two months after four masked robbers armed with knives and machetes broke into the home of Dele’s Spurs teammate Jan Vertonghen in Hampstead, North London.
