Menacing Teen Who Mutilated Mom's Cat Arrested For Killing Nurse, 44, in her Home

Cohen "Vinn" Heath, 19, and 16-year-old accomplice arrested in the murder of Bridget Kenner - a nurse with the Centura Health in her Colorado Springs home. Colorado!

Kenner's nude body was discovered in the living room with stab wound by police on a requested welfare check after she didn't show up to work, April 28.

Police reportedly learned from Kenner's boyfriend that she lived alone with her 16-year-old daughter, who dates 19-year-old Cohen "Vinn" Heath.

The unnamed juvenile was arrested with Heath about one mile from the murder scene - both have since been charged with murder in the first degree for Kenner's death.

Heath with previous violent history had been charged with one count of aggravated cruelty to animals and released from jail on bond for knifing and mutilating his mom's cat, cutting off its paws to make into a necklace.
He allegedly confessed to the mutilation claiming he had thought about killing a friend prior while high on methamphetamine.

Following the announcement of Heath and the 16-year-old's arrest, Kenner's mother, Toni Crews posted pictures of her daughter on Facebook, saying she was "devastated."

"Please lift our family in prayer. Keith and I have lost our beautiful daughter Bridget Kenner unexpectedly last week. We are absolutely devastated. She will always be loved and missed. Fly high with the angels baby."
It's unclear whether Heath has entered a plea on either the animal cruelty or murder charge. Both suspects remain behind bars at the time of this report.
