Not less than eleven people lost their lives and more reportedly left injured after a suspected convict drives SUV into crowd in Binjiang square in Hengyang, China, Wednesday evening.
Officials described the attack as a "deliberate, malicious case of driving with intent to injure".
Authority has since identified the suspect as 54-year-old Yang Zanyun.
