Abhishek Chetan, 42, was arrest in Bengaluru, India for attempted murder, after he scooped out one of his 66-year-old father's eyes with his bare hands and left him bleeding.
The greedy suspect ho has other siblings reportedly started harassing his father over inheritance after his mother's death a month ago demanding all be transfered to him.
The 42-year-old had already won in getting his late mom's share of property transferred to his name, and Paramesh had refused to part with more.
Police said both were only initially involved in verbal altercation before everything turned gory andugly.
Paramesh is a retired superintendent with the government translation department.

"Atsome point, he lost control and turned violent, scooping out one of the eyes of his father."In his statement to police, Chetan said he was frustrated that his father collected Rs 12,000 monthly rent-money from him, and also declined to transfer properties to his name, despite being aware of his financial distress.
"He always kept me at a distance, even during festivals and family get-togethers,” police quoted him as having said.Relatives said that Chetan’s financial crisis was not because his incense stick business was not doing well, but because he led a lavish lifestyle which was funded by money he borrowed from people.
Paramesh is a retired superintendent with the government translation department.
