MISSING PERSON: WOMAN GOES MISSING AFTER BEING ALLEGEDLY FORCED INTO A CAR IN BROAD DAY LIGHT

Jastine Valdez, 24, from Enniskerry is reportedly missing police heard. The 24-year-old originally from the Philippines is believed to have been abducted after reports of a female pedestrian being forced into a car on the south of Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, Ireland at around 6.15pm on Saturday.

She is about 5ft, slight build with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket, white T-shirt, grey leggings and trainers.

A man was shot dead by police investigating the alleged abduction at the business park in south Dublin at about 8pm on Sunday - reports gather the deceased, a father-of-two was armed with knife.

A Garda statement said: 
"Gardai investigating the disappearance of Jastine Valdez interacted with the driver of a vehicle at approximately 8pm this evening, 20 May 2018, in the Cherrywood area of Dublin."
"An official Garda firearm was discharged."
Ms Valdez was reported missing by her family late on Saturday.

The Gardai is also appealing for information on a black Nissan Qashqai registration 171 D 20419 between 5pm on Saturday and 8pm on Sunday.
