Iran jails fashion bloggers and social media models for 'spreading prostitution and a Western-style culture of nudity'

Twelve people - eight women and four men were jailed from five months to six years for 'spreading prostitution and Western-style culture of nudity.' in Shiraz, Iran.
Though the twelve are expected to appeal their sentences according to their lawyer, Mahmoud Taravat.
With immediate effect pending the outcome of their respective appeals, they are banned from working in the fashion industry and from traveling abroad.

They were accused of 'encouraging prostitution' and 'promoting corruption' by publishing 'obscene' online and spreading a 'Western-style culture of nudity' that was designed to corrupt Muslims, the court heard.
