FRANCE SWEEPS GERMANY ASIDE TO MAKE THE FINAL OF THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP. 2-0 AT FULL TIME.


France have booked a spot in the final of Euro 2016 after defeating Germany 2-0 on Thursday night. The host nation in a show of tactical master class scored a late goal in the first half through Antoinne Griezmann and scored in the second half through the same player - Griezmann.


The match started with Germany dominating possession forcing all French players to withdraw within their half while Draxler, Ozil and Muller tried to open up spaces in the French defence.

N'Golo Kante starred for France during the group stages but the Leicester City midfielder was left out of the starting XI to face the Germans as Didier Deschamps opted for a 4-2-3-1 system.


Newcastle's Moussa Sissoko got the nod out wide to provide balance, with Antoinne Griezmann occupying a more central role.
