A woman in upstate New York saw her DUI charge dismissed this week after she went in front of a judge and argued she suffers from "auto-brewery syndrome," a condition where the human body literally ferments alcohol within the stomach!
The woman, who police nabbed driving "all over the road," with "glassy-bloodshot eyes and slurred speech," blew a .40 on an alcohol test (!!!), but once she got to the hospital, medical professionals were adamant about releasing her immediately after she didn't exhibit any symptoms of drunkenness!
Then, when she went before a judge, she actually got the charge dismissed on account of her VERY rare syndrome!
