City missed a chance to claim the title last weekend when they shockingly lost to local rival, Manchester United, at The Etihads stadium letting confused United crawl back from two goals down to 2-3 at full time. A win last weekend would made them the first team to win the title with six matches to go but with five games to go, they might look to scoop another accolade with a record 100-point Champions.
City founded in 1880 have won the title five times; 1936–37, 1967–68, 2011–12, 2013–14, 2017–18.
