#METOO ACTIVIST CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLYWOMAN ACCUSED OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Daniel Fierro accuses California Democratic Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, the head of the Legislative Women's Caucus and a leading figure in the state's anti-sexual harassment movement of groping him. He alleged Cristina Garcia stroked his back, touched his buttocks and gestured to touch his crotch in a dugout after a legislative softball game as far back as 2014. The embarrassing incident wasn't reported at the time until January when Fierro opened up to his former boss, Democratic Assemblyman Ian Calderon who has now reported the case to Assembly leaders and investigation has commenced. POLICE HUNTS SERIAL SHOOTER SUSPECTED OF SHOOTING FOUR PEOPLE, KILLING TWO WITHIN A FEW DAYS Teala Schaff, Garcia's spokeswoman said the assemblywoman learned a complaint was filed against her but was given no details... "Every complaint about sexual harassment should be taken seriously and I will participate fully in any investigation that takes place," - Cristina Garcia. The Assemblywoman added: "I have zero recollection of engaging in inappropriate behavior and such behavior is inconsistent with my values. Fierro said he decided to tell his former boss about the incident because of Cristina Garcia's outspokenness in the #MeToo movement. "If the person leading the charge on it isn't credible it just ends up hurting the credibility of these very real stories," Fierro left the Assembly in 2016. Calderon, his former boss, is now the majority leader. Calderon's communications director, Lerna Shirinian, said Fierro told her about the incident right after it happened. "He was in shock, I was in shock — but the culture was very different back then," Shirinian told Politico. DSCUS!

POLICE HUNTS SERIAL SHOOTER SUSPECTED OF SHOOTING FOUR PEOPLE, KILLING TWO WITHIN A FEW DAYS

Police are looking for a gunman suspected of randomly shooting a total of four people, killing two of them within several days - Las Vegas authorities. On February 2, a surveillance camera caught the yet-to-be-identified perpetrator shooting and killing James Lewis - a homeless man sleeping under a bridge, according to coroner's office and the police. James Lewis' daughter, Oneida Lewis Baker said she had been searching for her boxing-loving father until his death - She told ABC News She said she wonders why her father was homeless: "When he has kids and grandkids, a mom and dad still alive, brothers and nieces and nephews and cousins. Why? We absolutely love you and adore you." "As much as I did to try to find him and I didn't come up with anything, you still shouldn't have [taken] his life," she said. "He still should be here today regardless of if he's homeless or not." At a news conference Tuesday, Captain Robert Plummer of the Las Vega Police confirmed three of the four victims were homeless and were sleeping at the time of the unfortunate incidence. Captain Plummer also confirmed the same gun was used in all four shootings. “We must stop this man before he shoots and kills someone else," Plummer said. Police confirmed the first shooting was on January 29 at a grocery store in a gas station. The victim however wasn't homeless but was alone. A second victim was shot in front of a shopping center a few hours later. That same day a homeless person was shot in the face, police said. Lewis was the final victim. On Feb. 2 about 4:16 a.m., video shows a dark-colored SUV drive up and park near where Lewis was found, police said. A man walks up to Lewis and shoots him before running back to the SUV and driving away. -To target the homeless, a "very vulnerable segment of our society, is cowardly,” Plummer added, according to the Las Vegas Sun. The suspect was driving what appears to be a Hyundai Tucson SUV, police said. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Las Vegas police at (702) 828-3521.

170 PEOPLE UNACCOUNTED FOR AS MAGNITUDE-6.4 QUAKE HITS TAIWAN

A magnitude-6.4 quake struck Taiwan Tuesday night causing some buildings to cave in and many others standing crooked. The shallow and powerful earthquake has reportedly claimed two lives with over 170 people unaccounted for. It struck near Taiwan's eastern coast, hitting Hualien county more. Firefighters and rescuers could be seen climbing ladders hoisted against windows as they sought to reach residents inside apartments. Over 219 people are injured of which about two dozen of them are in critical condition in Hualien county - The National Fire Agency confirmed. The agency said most of the 170 people who could not be reached for rescue at the moment might be in the Yunmen Cuiti building - a 12-story apartment building. A hotel employee died when the ground floor caved in at the Marshal Hotel, and another person died in a residential building. A maintenance worker who was rescued after being trapped in the hotel's basement said the force of the earthquake was not usual. "At first it wasn't that big ... we get this sort of thing all the time and it's really nothing. But then it got really terrifying," Chen Ming-hui said after he was reunited with his son and grandson. "It was really scary." Many buildings tilted on their foundations due to the magnitude-6.4 quake Tuesday night and rescuers used ropes, ladders and cranes to get residents to safety. MANCHESTER UNITED RISKS LOSING MARCUS RASHFORD IN SUMMER United States of America's Geological Survey said the magnitude-6.4 quake hit before midnight Tuesday about 23 kilometers (14 miles) northeast of Hualien at a shallow depth of about 10.6 kilometers (6.6 miles). Taiwan has frequent earthquakes due to its position along the "Ring of Fire," the seismic faults encircling the Pacific Ocean where most of the world's earthquakes occur. DSCUS

MANCHESTER UNITED RISKS LOSING MARCUS RASHFORD IN SUMMER

Jose Mourinho's summer plans indirectly translates to lesser game-time for out-of-form Manchester United speedster Marcus Rashford - with strings of unsatisfactory display from the 20-year-old English international in recent times. Jose Mourinho's bid to sign Ajax's wonder-kid Justin Kluivert, 18, in the 2017/18 reports gather will force Rashford elsewhere in search of game-time. There is no second-guessing Rashford talent with the youngster capable of being one of the best players on his generation. He took the scene two years ago as a make-shift striker, scoring a brace on his Manchester United debut against FC Midtjylland and also helped Manchester United win the FA Cup under former boss Louis van Gaal. RUSSIAN PILOT BLOWS HIMSELF UP TO AVOID CAPTURE He followed that up by driving the club to EFL Cup and Europa League glory, starting the final of the latter following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury. Rashford started this season as Mourinho’s main man on the left for the Old Trafford outfits but has since lost his place in the side to "the young French boy" Anthony Martial, whose blistering form has made him one of the first names on the Red Devils’ team sheet. RUSSIAN PILOT BLOWS HIMSELF UP TO AVOID CAPTURE

Russian pilot Maj. Roman Filipov reportedly blew himself up with a grenade after his Sukhoi 25SM fighter jet was hit by a portable surface-to-air missile as he flew low over opposition-held Idlib in northwestern Syria, according to NEW YORK POST Maj. Filipov, was forced to eject from his crashing jet within opposition's territory, out-numbered and out-gunned, he blew himself up as he shouted, "This is for our guys!" to avoid capture by extremists. A video circulating online shows he managed to keep the plane in the air for as long as he could but was forced to bail out after one of the engines failed and his flight controls became unresponsive. Jihadists from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, an al Qaeda-linked terrorist organization shot at him after his parachute opened, but he made it to the ground and shot two of the rebels with his Stechkin pistol, the EXPRESS REPORTED. Dramatic video circulating in social media shows the fighters ducking as the gutsy aviator then shouts, “This is for our guys!” He then pulls the grenade’s pin and blows himself up. Major Roman Filipov, 33, was from the eastern city of Vladivostok, was posthumously nominated for the Kremlin’s highest honor, the Hero of Russia, according to the Russian daily Kommersant. Russian President, Vladimir Putin is expected to grant the award. “Maj. Roman Filipov fought an unequal battle with his service weapon until the last minute of his life,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. “When surrounded by the terrorists and heavily wounded, the Russian officer blew himself up with a grenade when the militants got within several dozen meters of him.” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added: “The pilot died heroically. We are proud of our heroes.” Russia has reportedly ordered its warplanes in Syria to fly higher to avoid being shot down by shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, the Izvestia daily reported Monday. Russian defense officials said planes would only fly above 16,400 feet to keep the pilots safe. The Defense Ministry said such a policy had previously been in effect, but that the fighter jets had for some reason started flying lower in recent days, Reuters reported. Speculations suggested Major Filipov had been captured by jihadists and separately that he had been killed in fighting. However, a mobile phone video of Major Filipov's final/heroic moment cleared that he had exploded his grenade to take his own life rather than be captured. Syrian and Russian forces were on ground at the scene of the incident aiming to retrieve the pilot's remains.

MAN UTD: WAYNE ROONEY TELLS THE PERFECT POSITION TO PLAY PAUL POGBA

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been criticized in the past for often playing French international Paul Pogba out of position - without much freedom to play like he did at Juventus. This time ex-Manchester United player Wayne Rooney opines Pogba be played on the left of a three in midfield to get the best out of the 24 year old. And we all agree!!! "For me Paul Pogba is a classic box-to-box player. He can do a bit of everything really well," "If he has that freedom where he doesn't have to think too much about his defensive role he can cause mayhem. "At Juventus he had [Andrea] Pirlo alongside him. With [Nemanja] Matic and another alongside him, on the left of a three in midfield, that will certainly get the best out of him." - Wayne Rooney told Sky Sports' Monday Night Football programme.

Divorces are mostly expected to end bitterly especially for the party with weak legal team and witching-hunting is "understandably" the major motive.
