REVEREND FATHER ACCUSED OF RAPING AN 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL SAYS "I THOUGHT SHE WAS 15"

Father Paolo Glaentzer, was arrested last month for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl in a car. The 70-year-old Italian priest blamed "the devil" for his actions while also claiming he thought the minor was 15. Age of consent in Italy 16 so 15 is still a crime.
The court did not jail the priest, but he is currently being held on house arrest as investigation continues.
