While most kids his age are looking for/obsessed with anything except politics, 14-year-old Ethan Sonneborn is running for governor's seat in Vermont, US.
According to reports, the Vermont Democrat is taking advantage of a loophole in the constitution of the northeastern state that has no age limit on running for governor.
Contestants for the seat only have to have lived in Vermont for at least four years, and Sonneborn has lived in Vermont for all his life.
In a recent gubernatorial forum, the 14-year-old said:
His rivals include Christine Hallquist, running to become America's first transgender governor, James Ehlers, a Navy veteran and environmentalist, and Brenda Siegel, the executive director of a dance festival.
