BOXING BEEF: 'If I had one more knock-out shot I'd land it on his jaw': Boxer Nick Blackwell blasts 'disgusting' Chris Eubank Snr

Boxer, Nick Blackwell, who retired from boxing recently after he suffered injuries to the skull following a knockout fight with Chris Eubank Jnr which left him in induced coma for a week, has blasted father and manager of Chris Eubank Jnr, Chris Eubank Snr saying he would punch him in the jaw if he had one last knock out shot, labeling his attention grabbing antics as 'disgusting'.
The former boxer was upset by his opponent's comments in the media afterwards and for holding a press conference, when the Blackwell family pleaded with them not to do so while their loved one remained in a coma. But Eubank Snr said he felt pressured to speak out so he didn't come across as being 'cold'.

In his first interview since the fight, Blackwell told Piers Morgan at the Good Morning Britain Show this morning:
'If I could have one more knockout shot, I'd love to land it on the jaw of Chris Eubank. 'I haven’t any hard feelings about the fight because you’re in there to win and try and hurt someone — it’s just the stuff he has done after. It’s inhuman, it’s disgusting.
'They were trying to make themselves look like the good guys when they are the opposite. If Eubank was in that situation in a coma, I would have gone to see him. The press conference - my family begged them not to do it. They went ahead and did it. They said they wouldn’t speak about me, just Eubank’s future.
'He could have just put out a one-liner saying “we’ve been in contact with the Blackwell family and they don’t want us to do a press conference and when he wakes up, then we will do a press conference”.
'I haven’t got anything against (Eubank Jnr) as a fighter,' he added. 'I think he’s a really good fighter, but some of the things he’s said and done I personally wouldn’t have done.'
Blackwell also claimed that Eubank Snr's much-lauded recommendation that his son stop hitting his opponent in the head was not out of kindness. He said:
'Anyone in boxing knows it was more of a tactical thing. He couldn’t stop me in the head, so he went for the body to try and get rid of me.'

Blackwell insists he can't remember anything from the fight, which nearly killed him, but has been told exactly what happened by family and friends. He said:
'I couldn’t remember anything about the fight. All a complete blur. I got told when I woke up and I wanted to say thanks to the doctor. He induced me into a coma about 13 minutes after being in the ring. And yeah, my flat lines died for a little while and he injected me with adrenaline and I started breathing again.'

A South Korean-based ma has been arrested in connection with the rape of an Australian woman

A Nigerian man has been charged with raping an Australian woman, in Seoul, South Korea after spiking her drink with a drug in a pub. The Nigerian was taken into custody after his DNA was confirmed to have matched the one taken from the woman.

According to Mail Online, 25-year-old Aidre Mattner, from Adelaide, claimed she was alone on a pub crawl in Seoul, South Korea's capital, when a stranger spiked her drink, piled her into a taxi and took her back to a seedy hotel where he and two other men forced themselves on her in September last year.

Security footage from the hotel, in an area known to locals as 'hookers hill', show two men in white leading a disoriented Ms Mattner inside before they took turns violating her on the bed.

"I was completely naked on my back on the bed and the man was on top of me trying to force himself inside me," she told 60 Minutes on Sunday, May 22.

"I struggled as much as I could...I tried to push him off and just wasn't strong enough," she added.

She said the officers did not seem overly concerned with tracking down the men who preyed on her and seemed to blame the situation on what she was wearing, how much she drank and the fact that she was alone.

The police had DNA evidence and security footage of Ms Mattner's alleged attackers but closed her case despite the active leads.
Ms Mattner said she was 'dumbfounded' by their approach to such a serious crime.

"I just didn’t understand. I felt as if they abandoned me,' she told 60 Minutes.

Frustrated and humiliated, Ms Mattner and her mother set up a GoFundMe page to raise money so they could pursue legal action against her attackers which shone a spotlight on the investigation and sparked international outcry from women's rights groups.

Korean authorities re-opened the case and within weeks were able to track down a Nigerian man whose DNA matched that taken from Ms Mattner on the night of her attack.

He was arrested but in another devastating blow to Ms Mattner, he was only charged with sexual harassment as the 25-year-old was not awake during the assault, 60 Minutes reported.

She had been falling in and out of consciousness as her drink was spiked, something she said hit her like a ton of bricks once leaving the club.

"It was not a realisation that something felt strange - it was a black out and being aware that I was in the back of a taxi being taken somewhere,"

She said she begged and pleaded with the taxi driver to take her home, but he ignored her requests and instead chose to listen to the predator who loaded her into the cab.

"I was terrified, I didn’t know what else I could do other than beg the man to take me back to my hostel,' Ms Mattner said.

The English teacher said handfuls of women from all over the world reached out to her after she made her plight for justice public, many with a similar tale of being drugged and taken advantage of in a foreign city.

"That’s when I really understood how big the problems is – its an epidemic," she said.

Man lured a 9-year-old boy into his car by promising to buy him a scooter then raped and killed him

A man has been arrested for allegedly raping and killing a nine-year-old boy who went missing in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on Friday, May 20. Police began searching for Obaida after he was reported missing from his home in the industrial area of Sharjah.

The 48-year-old Jordanian was arrested on Sunday morning after police received a report that a body of a child had been found under a tree in Academic City Road in Al Warqa area.

Major General Khamis Al Muzeina, chief of Dubai Police, said the child was kidnapped from in front of a garage in Sharjah’s industrial area, where the boy’s father worked.

"The forensics doctor said that the boy had been dead for less than 24 hours and had been strangled. There were signs of struggle on the boy’s chest and hands as well as signs that he had been sexually assaulted. Within two hoursof receiving the call, we were able to locate the suspect, who was the last person to be seen with Obaida and was one of the father’s acquaintances." said Major Muzeina.

The police chief said the suspect, who had previous offences, changed his place of residence when Obaida disappeared. Maj Gen Khalil Al Mansouri, assistant commander of CID at Dubai Police, said under questioning the man admitted to killing Obaida after trying to rape him. The suspect allegedly lured Obaida into his car on Friday at 7pm by promising to buy him a scooter.

"He went to Al Mamzar area in a car which he had borrowed from his building’s watchman, then parked the car and started to drink alcohol," Maj Gen Al Mansouri said. "The man told the nine-year-old to undress, but the child resisted and told the man he would tell his father, at which point, the suspect tried to stop the child from screaming and strangled him to death using his hands, then with a head cover."

Maj Gen Al Mansouri said the man left the boy’s body in the back seat of the car and continued to consume alcohol until 5am, when he left the area to go back to his residence in Sharjah.

At 7am, the man went to Academic City and dumped the body as well as other items used in the crime.
