TI:Jeweler Sues T.I. For $700,000 After Dodging A Decade Of Decadent Diamond Payments
An Atlanta jeweler, Aydin & Co., is fed up and has filed a lawsuit against Clifford “Tip” Harris for allegedly taking rings, chains, and other luxurious baubles for years!
According to TMZ, the jeweler says that back in 2014 they crafted a 18.5 karat white gold bracelet in addition to a yellow gold rosary for Tip and he’s only paid them $20,000 on the $44,000 bill.
Moreover, the folks at Aydin claim they’ve made numerous pieces for “The King Of The South” for over ten years and he owes them $400,000 in total!
Tip says this whole thing is some ol’ f**kboy bulls#!t.
Seems like a lot of these jewelers get themselves into these situations where they make a LOT of jewelry for rappers who haven’t paid for said services.

Racist Thai “Secret Cream” Beauty Ad Says ‘Just Being White, You Will Win’
CNN:
It’s hard to imagine anything more blatant than this.A new Thai beauty ad claiming white skin is the key to success has unleashed a storm of criticism in Thailand, especially online, where people complain the ad perpetuates damaging, racist ideas.“Just being white, you will win,” says Cris Horwang, a smiling pale-skinned actress, in the 50-second spot by Seoul Secret, a Thai beauty company.Without the advertised pill, “the whiteness I have invested in, will just vanish,” she warns.Next to her, another actress looks despondent as her skin is digitally altered to turn black.Horwang promises that the product, called Snowz, “will help you not to return to being dark.”“Eternally white, I am confident,” she adds.On Friday evening, Seoul Secret pulled the video from its online platforms and issued a statement.“(We) would like to apologize for the mistake and claim full responsibility for this incident. Our company did not have any intention to convey discriminatory or racist messages,” it said.“What we intended to convey was that self-improvement in terms of personality, appearance, skills, and professionality (sic) is crucial.”‘Really ugly’
Skin whitening products are popular in many Asian countries including Thailand.Yet that didn’t stop viewers from reacting with repulsion.“I think it’s really ugly — I couldn’t believe this kind of ad is still coming out in Thailand,” Yukti Mukdawijitra, a professor of sociology and anthropology at Thailand’s Thammasat University, told CNN.Mukdawijitra said the ad reflected a pattern of racism that’s existed in Thailand for “centuries,” in which lighter-colored skin has been seen as a marker of privilege and status within the multi-ethnic society. But this has been compounded by the influence of the West.“Thai society wants to be a part of international society, so ideas of beauty are transferred from the West to Thailand as well.“Those who look Western, those who are white, those who have bodies that look like Westerners’, become preferable — in a way, people in Thailand internalize a colonial attitude into themselves.”More than a harmless aesthetic preference, this kind of thinking exacerbates social inequality, he said.“It’s fine that you prefer white colors, but it doesn’t makes sense to prefer being white.”Online, commenters echoed the indignation.“I have finished watching it. It is not ok,” read a comment on a Pantip, a popular Thai internet forum. “They forced us to suck this twisted logic. Created the wrong value. Promoted the madness in being white.”SOURCE: BOSSIP
USA: Maine Governor Paul LePage: ‘Guys Named D-Money, Smoothie & Shifty Impregnate Young White Girls!’
Maine Governor Says Drug Dealers Are Impregnating White Girls
LePage, talking about Maine’s heroin epidemic, described out-of-state drug dealers as “guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty” and said “half the time they impregnate a young white girl before they leave.”
LePage, who’s white, didn’t describe the races of the drug dealers on Wednesday during a town meeting in Bridgton, and a spokesman said Thursday he wasn’t making a comment about race.
But moderate Republican and LePage critic Lance Dutson, who called attention to the remark, said the governor was playing to people’s racial fears.
“This is one of the most blatantly racist statements he’s ever made,” said Dutson, a former CEO of the conservative Maine Heritage Policy Center who helped create the GOP group Get Right Maine to combat extremism. “One of the things that’s offensive about it is that it’s reminiscent of this fearmongering in American history that people would like to think is long gone.”

RAPE: Transgender woman who raped a girl before transition sent to male prison
Ayrton, 34, who changed her name from David three years ago was found guilty on Friday, January 9, of raping a 15-year-old girl in the autumn of 2004. The week-long trial at Portsmouth crown court heard that she had attempted to kill herself last summer.
Judge Ian Pearson remanded Ayrton into custody for her safety and said it was likely she would be held in Winchester prison until sentencing on 4 March.
Ayrton, who was said to have learning difficulties, has been living at the Heywood Sumner House care home in nearby Fordingbridge. She has not undergone any physical modifications or taken medication as part of her gender change.
"I am going to have to remand in custody, if I were to release on bail there are substantial grounds to believe she would be a risk to herself and a risk of failing to attend for whatever reason," Judge Pearson said.
"I will therefore have to remand in custody, it will have to be a male prison in Winchester but it will be an issue for the prison service."
Thanking the jury, the judge added: "It’s been a slightly unusual case and it’s not been an easy case."
The trial heard that Ayrton had met the teenage victim, who had run away from home, and two friends on an evening in autumn 2004 and gone drinking in a garage which had a sofa and chairs in it.
The victim described how she screamed and shouted at Ayrton, who was 23 at the time, to stop but failed to wake her friend and her boyfriend who were asleep nearby
The prosecution was brought after a care worker reported that Ayrton had confessed to the rape in January 2014, described herself as a “paedophile” and said she had “always known there was something wrong with me and I need help".
Ayrton, who has a son, was convicted of possessing indecent images of children at Bournemouth crown court in January 2014. A court officer said the prison had been informed and protocols put in place for Ayrton’s detention.

TERROR ATTACK IN EGYPT: Gunmen attack Egyptian hotel wounding 2 foreign tourists
The attack took place at Bella Vista Hotel on today, Ahram Online reported. A hotel worker told the newspaper that at least two tourists had been injured.
According to Reuters, security forces confirmed that two foreign tourists, one from Germany and one from Denmark were wounded adding that the assailants arrived by sea to carry out the attack.
State television reported that Egyptian security forces killed one of the gunmen.
There have been no official reports on casualties so far.
The latest assault comes as shortly after Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for a Thursday attack on Israeli tourists in Cairo. Last month, IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi called on supporters to target Jews “everywhere.”
There were no further casualties, Egyptian authorities reported, adding that the assailants had been trying to target security forces, not the tourists.
