Commuters get naked for 10th annual "No Pants Subway Ride"

Hundreds of half-naked commuters photographed taking subway ride in various cities around the world as they participate in the infamous "No Pants Subway Ride", which originally started with seven riders in 2002 in New York has since spread to over 60 cities around the globe including London, Tokyo, Jerusalem and Moscow.

Participants pictured talking, reading and taking photographs of each other outside the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square to mark the 10th annual "No Pants Tube Ride" organized by Improv Everywhere, before heading underground where they boarded trains on different Tube lines.

NB:  Event date is announced in early December on Improv Everywhere's site!

The London event was organised by the Stiff Upper Lip Society, which asked participants to "avoid thongs/budgie-smugglers/anything see-through though, as we aim to amuse, not offend, fellow Underground users."
