WHEN REFS BEEF: HERB DEAN UNDER FIRE FOR LETTING DEFENSELESS CB DOLLAWAY GET REPEATEDLY POUNDED BEFORE STOPPING ROUT
UFC Herb Dean, who is usually regarded as a solid referee, is under immense fire after Twitter reacted to his poor/risky officiating during Khalid Murtazaliev and CB Dollaway's fight on Saturday night.

UFC FIGHT NIGHT: NIKITA KRYLOV RETURN TO THE UFC MARKED WITH LOSS TO JAN BLACHOWICZ

Dean is being accused of letting Murtazaliev repeatedly pound defenseless Dollaway especially after it appeared the 35-year-old had shelled up in a submissive position

The fight was ultimately stopped between the second and third round when Dollaway was forced to say he couldn't continue.

Dean was vilified on Twitter for his inactivity, and you can hear Paul Felder criticizing the ref as well. This was an unfortunate performance from Dean, and one that should prompt a look into the way referees interpret a fighter's actions in the cage.

It looked as if Dollaway was telling Dean he was done with his actions.
