Marcelo's relationship with new Real manager, Julen Lopetegui is claimed to be strained, especially after being taken off against Girona.
It's claimed that Juventus are also interested in him and wanted to sign him together with his best friend, Cristiano Ronaldo, following the 32-year-old's £100million move during the summer transfer window but couldn't.
Reports in Spain also claim that the defender is now forced to train with the reserves.
After the Girona game, Marcelo said:
"I was surprised by the change but I respect the decision of the coach."
"I wanted to continue because I felt 100 per cent good. I do not understand the substitution but with respect, it is a decision of the coach. I always want to play."
