According to White Helmets - a Syrian rescue volunteer force, over 35 people were killed in an explosion in Sarmada, Syria, near the Turkish border.
The United Kingdom-based Syrian Observatory of Human Rights reported said the explosion took place at the bottom of a building that housed ammunition in Bab al-Hawa Square.
The White Helmets were founded in late 2012 and early 2013, growing from a few dozen to several thousand members. The humanitarian group responds to aid and rescue other civilians when there is an explosion, fire or any form of attack. The White Helmets has operated in opposition-held parts of Syria throughout Syria's seven-year civil war.
They are considered a terrorist organization by Russia and the present Syrian government.
The story about the explosion is still developing as none of the speculations can be confirmed at this moment.
