TERROR: TWO COPS STABBED AND TRAIN STATION EVACUATED OVER BOMB SCARE IN BRUSSELS, BELGIUM


Two police officers were stabbed by a yet-to-be identified man who was armed with an army knife, the attacker was shot in the leg as he tried to flee the scene while bomb scare caused an emergency evacuation of the Bruxelles Nord train station - both incidences happened in Brussels, Belgium.


A spokesperson said:
"A message of an alleged bomb threat was sent to the police, all the people were evacuated from the station, the trains have stopped. This will continue until security services inspect the station, minimum an hour."
Spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor's office, Eric Van Der Sypt told AFP:
"We have elements to believe that the incident was a terrorist attack."
