The teen and his friend are habitual 4th of July patriots who celebrate the independence day every year with sparkler bomb to scare his family and impress his "goons" but this year's has a different tale to it when the homemade sparkler bomb want off on the kids seriously leaving one injured, amputated below the knee on one leg and fears he may lose is sight in both eyes.
The other kid is said to be slightly injured.
