VIDEO: BARCELONA STAR LIONEL MESSI AND HIS FATHER, JORGE FOUND GUILTY AND HANDED 21-MONTH PRISON SENTENCE FOR TAX EVASION IN SPAIN.

FC Barcelona star player and Five-time FIFA Ballons d'Or winner Lionel Messi, 29 and his father Jorge Messi were both sentenced to suspended 21 months in prison (whatever that means) and each fined £1.7 million and £1.3 million respectively on tax evasion charges.
And the sentence can be appealed too through the Supreme Court in Spain.
Though prison sentence under two years under Spanish law can be serve on probation if the offender has no prior criminal records.

 Is it a thing among just FC Barcelona players or what?
I mean Neymar was fined £40 million in Brazil for tax evasion, Javier Mascherano was also sentenced in Spain last year for tax evasion.
They all denied the allegations though.
