PHOTOS: ISIS CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR AN ATTACK THAT CLAIMED AT LEAST 20 LIVES AT A CAFE IN BANGLADESH


At least eight men armed with guns, bombs and swords reportedly stormed Holey Artisan restaurant near the British High Commission in Dhaka, Banglandesh, killing at least 20 people, including 2 officers and wounding about 40 in a 10-hour stand-off.




Six of the gunmen were reportedly killed in a shootout after Bangladeshi Police stormed the Café.

ISIS has claimed responsibility saying at least 24 people of different nationalities were killed.


According to reports, most of the those killed were gruesomely hacked to death with sharp weapons.

Many people remain unaccounted for including an individual with the British High Commission and Seven Japanese Citizens.


The U.S. State Department confirmed the attack and stated that all Americans on U.S. mission in the Area have been accounted for and that the U.S. President, President Barack Obama has been briefed about the attack.
Though unable to confirm if private U.S. citizens are caught up in the hostage situation.


From my findings, the restaurant is frequented by people of different nationalities; Italy, Argentina, U.S., Britain...
