Controversial National Union of Students (NUS) president Malia Bouattia, 28, blames the UK government for giving young UK muslims no choices but to run off to join terror groups. She made the accussations during a debate at University College London last night.

She condemned the UK government for
cutting public services (mass unemployment, the closure of youth centres and privatisation of education) siting these as the reason young muslims are running off to join "jihadi" groups.

The NUS under her leadership has fought the Government's anti-extrimism crackdown that obliges teachers identify potential radicals in schools.

She has previously highlighted anti-ISIS as Islamophobic and reffered to a University as 'Zionist Outpost' because it has a large Jewish Society.
