FOOTBALL & CRIME: STAY AWAY FROM RIO OLYMPICS, RIVALDO WARNS. HERE'S WHY...

Brazil legend and ex-Barcelona player Rivaldo took to instagram to warn tourists to keep away from the Rio Olympics because of increasing crime rate in the capitals.
Video surfaced on facebook last week of children and teenagers snatching valuables from tourists somewhere in Brazil.
Rivaldo however is making this appeal because of a recent murder case involving a 17 year old female victim.
He wrote:

"Things are getting uglier here every day," the ex-Barcelona star wrote. "I advise everyone with            plans to visit Brazil for the Olympics in Rio to stay home.
"You'll be putting your life at risk here. This is without even speaking about the state of public                hospitals and all the Brazilian political mess. Only God can change the situation in our Brazil."
Also plaguing the city is a report of deaths in police confrontations in favelas last month, water pollution and the spread of Zika virus.
