ENGLAND: FOOTBALL: Man. City vs Everton... KDB stretched off!!!!!

Kevin De Bruyne was stretchered out of Manchester City's League Cup semi-final second leg victory over Everton.

The Belgian was introduced as a second half substitute and scored just four minutes after coming on with City chasing a win which would see them face Liverpool at Wembley.

But De Bruyne suffered what appeared to be a muscle injury as his studs got caught in the ground and he went down under a challenge from Ramiro Funes Mori in stoppage time.

De Bruyne was carried off on a stretcher, with his right leg heavily strapped up, leaving City to see the game out with 10 men having used all of their substitutes.

Sergio Aguero's 76th minute goal proved to be decisive as City won 3-1 on the night, overturning a first leg deficit to win the tie 4-3 on aggregate.
