Louisiana woman, Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith, 25, faces murder charge in the first degree in the kidnapping and killing of six-month-old Levi Cole Ellerbe. According to the baby's mother, Hanna Barker, her baby allegedly went missing after she was sprayed in the face by two people with what she believed was a mace in front of her trailer home.
Authorities found Levi alive but burnt while responding to a fire near a railroad. He was subsequently taken to the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in a critical condition and died of his injuries shortly after.
Felicia was charged with the first-degree murder of Levi on Saturday and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.
It is unclear if Smith and Hanna Barker knew each other.
