Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham enraged the internet after posting a happy photo of her daughter, Harper, horse-riding with a crown shaved onto the pony's hair.

She shared a snap of  and captioned it:

"Riding in the sunshine ☀ kisses from Harper and her prince 🐎 x #mummytime x"

However, Harper's pony had a crown shaved into its hair - prompting mixed reaction from social media users, many speculated that the crown had been cruelly branded onto the animal.

One user wrote:

"Is this horse branded with hot iron?! 😱😱😱😱 I don't know if is the case, but if it is this is so cruel!"
