ENTITLED TURKEY PRESIDENT TAYYIP ERDOGAN CRITICIZES RUSSIA, SAYS HIS GOVERNMENT TO DECIDE FUTURE OF SYRIA

Turkey President, Tayyip Erdogan, dismisses comments from Russia's foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, over Syria's Afrin region saying: "We know very well who we'll hand Afrin to. First, let's talk about handing over areas controlled by other countries in Syria to Syria." "When the time comes, we will give Afrin to the people of Afrin personally, but the timing of this is up to us, we will determine it, not Mr. Lavrov."

It's believed Turkey is backing ant al-Assad rebels while Russia and Iran are backing the embattled Syria president, al-Assad.

It isn't clear why both anti-al-Assadsand pro-al-Assad are fighting for the same thing, expressing their purpose to the press saying exact same thing "... seize control of the Afrin region and hand it over to the" al-Assad government or to the Syrian people in the case of Turkey president, Erdogan.
