TERRORISM: A TEENAGE GIRL AND TWO MEN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF BUILDING AN IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE (IED)

Tip off of a bomb being built led investigators to a property in Woodseats, South Yorkshire where police made three arrests - two men and a teenage girl with intent to cause harm.  The said property has been sealed off as investigation deepens but nothing of such (IED) was found.   "Yesterday evening, police received a third party report stating they had information to suggest there could be a possible IED in a house on Abbey Lane." - A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.

She continued: 
"Searches of the house were carried out last night and no device was found."
"Further searches are set to continue throughout the day and a cordon remains in place around the property."
