The 36-year-old Caucasian inmate spent his last two days in isolation bound butt naked to a restraint chair at San Luis Obispo County Jail, California before he died.
Prison officials had earlier given false report regarding the cause of death of Holland - a known schizophrenic but a video released yesterday tells a different story of how Andrew Holland died in prison under surveillance in a solitary confinement cell in January 22, 2017.

The prison authority claimed Holland was “found unconscious and unresponsive” and was “under the continual care of a physician” at the time.
Sheriff Ian Parkinson and other county officials have refused to answer questions about why he was left in the chair so long, without even breaks to relieve himself.

"Although we can't bring Andrew back, our county has made and continues to make changes in response to this terrible event."
Though the county had since permanently banned the use of restraint chairs following Holland's terrific death, it's revealed it recently rewrote policies that would have allowed officials to keep using them.
His parents, who were awarded a £3,500,000 settlement from the county, are using the money to form an organization to advocate for the mentally ill caught in the criminal justice system.
