Broward County, Florida Wednesday implemented a new policy that'll permit deputies to be armed with AR-15 rifles on school grounds.
This "policy" was implemented in a bid to
increase security at schools following the recent Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shootings, Parkland, Florida.
Sheriff Scott Israel who made the announcement labeled the cold-blooded, Nikolas Cruz, "Pure evil" when quizzed by a reporter for motive(s).
Nikolas Cruz, 19, was arrested in a residential neighborhood near his former high school after the shooting. He has since been charged with 17 counts of premeditated murder and is being held in a Broward County jail.
