SWEDEN: Shocking moment thief punches and spits on mother in front of her kid
The shocking incident took place in central Stockholm, Sweden, earlier this month and was caught on security cameras. The attack since it's footage went viral has caused outrage in Sweden, with the head of the police investigation swearing to catch the perpetrator . The video shows an elderly woman walking out of the Gamla Stan[Old Town] tube station and picking up her phone out of her bag.
As she answers the call, the thief walks up behind her and tries to steal her wallet out of her open bag,but the mother passing by foils his attempt signalling to the elderly woman that she was about to be robbed. 'The mother who sees this screams to the old lady to watch out, and pushes the man's hand out,' lead investigator Stefan Tellqvist with Stockholm City Police told SVT. The thief then turns on the mother, who is holding the hand of one of her children, kicks her in the stomach and hits her across the face. He walks off, leaving the woman in shock, and exits the station , seconds later, he returns and runs after the woman and spits her in the face as she is holding her child in her arms. 'It is the worst thing I have ever seen during my years as a police officer, said Mr Tellqvist. 'I will get him, if it's the last thing I do.'

Serial rapist Daniel Holtzclaw has just learned his fate.
The Oklahoma cop who terrorized and brutalized the bodies of 13 black women will never see the light of day and was handed down a 263 year sentence.
Just before the sentencing Holtzclaw’s lawyer tried to file a motion for a new trial but was promptly DENIED.
A former Oklahoma City police officer who was found guilty of raping more than a dozen women while on duty was sentenced to 263 years in prison on Thursday.According to NBC’s Oklahoma City station KFOR, a judge sentenced Daniel Holtzclaw, 29, to 263 years in prison.According to Oklahoma state court records, Holtzclaw’s attorney Scott Adams filed a motion for a new trial — just one day before a judge would officially sentence him.The judge at today’s sentencing hearing denied that motion.Adams claimed that his client was denied a fair trial because “the government made deliberate discovery violations and misrepresentations, undermining confidence in the verdict,” according to court documents obtained by NBC News.In the filing, Adams alleged that a Facebook post by a police detective referenced evidence that was “withheld from the defense by the government.”During Holtzclaw’s trial, thirteen women took the stand and testified that the former cop had coerced them into having sex after threatening to arrest them for possessing drug paraphernalia or on outstanding warrants.All of Holtzclaw’s victims were black women that he stopped while on patrol.

Sean grew up in Detroit -- not far from Flint -- and we're told he wants the donations to support kids in Flint who've been exposed to lead in the city's water supply.

Suge Knight said goodbye to lawyer #4 Thursday morning, when Tom Mesereau left the case.
Our sources say Suge and Mesereau had a bitter disagreement over confidential information. We're told Suge claims the info made its way to authorities and he became enraged.
Here's what's odd ... the judge allowed our camera in the courtroom but then pulled the plug a minute after Suge's case was called and then cleared the entire courtroom so no member of the media or public could hear the reason for the laywer/client split.
We called Mesereau -- one of the top criminal defense lawyers in L.A. who won acquittals for Michael Jackson and Robert Blake -- but he was not reachable.

HOLLYWOOD: TOM CRUISE IS STARRING IN UNIVERSAL'S THE MUMMY REBOOT!

After months of rumors and denials and more rumors going back to last Thanksgiving,Tom Cruise is officially starring in Universal’s The Mummy.
The reboot/remake/etc. of the classic 1932 Boris Karloff horror movie, which itself was rebooted into an enormously successful fantasy action franchise starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in 1999, is supposed to be the start of what Universal hopes will be its connected universe mythology involving their classic monsters library. The film, produced by Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel, directed by Alex Kurtzman and written by Jon Spaihts, will presumably be the first in an ongoing series of action-centric horror/fantasy films that will theoretically be the equivalent of Walt Disney DIS +1.08% Marvel Cinematic Universe and/or Warner Bros./Time Warner TWX +1.45% Inc.’s DC Comics movie world.
