SUGE KNIGHT LOSES YET ANOTHER LAWYER!!

Suge Knight said goodbye to lawyer #4 Thursday morning, when Tom Mesereau left the case.

Our sources say Suge and Mesereau had a bitter disagreement over confidential information. We're told Suge claims the info made its way to authorities and he became enraged.

Here's what's odd ... the judge allowed our camera in the courtroom but then pulled the plug a minute after Suge's case was called and then cleared the entire courtroom so no member of the media or public could hear the reason for the laywer/client split.

We called Mesereau -- one of the top criminal defense lawyers in L.A. who won acquittals for Michael Jackson and Robert Blake -- but he was not reachable.

After months of rumors and denials and more rumors going back to last Thanksgiving,Tom Cruise is officially starring in Universal’s The Mummy.

The reboot/remake/etc. of the classic 1932 Boris Karloff horror movie, which itself was rebooted into an enormously successful fantasy action franchise starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in 1999, is supposed to be the start of what Universal hopes will be its connected universe mythology involving their classic monsters library. The film, produced by Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel, directed by Alex Kurtzman and written by Jon Spaihts, will presumably be the first in an ongoing series of action-centric horror/fantasy films that will theoretically be the equivalent of Walt Disney DIS +1.08% Marvel Cinematic Universe and/or Warner Bros./Time Warner TWX +1.45% Inc.’s DC Comics movie world.

NIGERIA: EPIDEMY: LASSA FEVER(VHF): Resident doctor dies of Lassa fever in OAU Teaching Hospital

An unidentified resident doctor at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC), Osun State, has died of Lassa Fever. According to the Chairman of the hospital's committee on Lassa Fever, Prof. Adedeji Onayade, the unidentified doctor died on Monday January 18th. The cause of his death was only confirmed yesterday January 20th after his blood sample was taken to the diagnostic center for test.

"The resident doctor’s death on Monday at the hospital was caused by Lassa fever. The result of the first test carried out on the sample of the deceased tested positive and we have a report back and the result came as positive. We were supposed to do two tests, but the patient was dying when we took the first sample. We can’t do the second test now. So, we can say it is 50 per cent. But we are going ahead to take necessary steps. We have informed those who should know.”he said

RUMOUR: SIR ALEX FERGUSON TO RETURN TO MANCHESTER UNITED'S DUGOUT IF LvG IS SACKED

Former Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson will return to Manchester United if Louis Van Gaal is sacked and Assistant manager Ryan Giggs is given the role of Head coach at Manchester United.

According to MirrorSport, Sir Alex Ferguson will take up a hands on role and assist Ryan Giggs from now till the end of the season if he is appointed as the new manager because of his close relationship with his former protege and his desire to see Man Utd progress under the Welshman.

As reported in the story;

''If Giggs does take charge before the end of the season, as he did when Moyes was sacked in 2014, he would ask for Ferguson’s help him in the closing months of the campaign – and possibly beyond. I understand Ferguson – who has refused offers to comment on United since he stepped down – wouldn’t refuse that request, especially from one of his favourite former stars, although it’s believed he wouldn’t want a return to the dugout.''

Whether the Ferguson story is true or not, the underlying point is that LVG is walking a tightrope once again. United are currently fifth in the division, and fears are starting to heighten that the Red Devils will not qualify for the Champions League next season.

I am ready to damn any consequences or insinuations from anywhere; my mission here is to preach peace among nations of Yoruba both home and abroad and I am ready to work with Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Olayiwola Adeyemi to project the unity and love which existed in days of our forefathers.” The Alaafin of Oyo expressed his excitement at seeing the Ooni in his domain " “This special visit was done last in March 1937, that was the first time the kings in Yorubaland met in Oyo town and today history was made with the visit of Arole Oodua, Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II and I feel delighted to host you and to reassure you that I will be ready to work with you. I had a cordial relationship with Ooni Adesoji Aderemi and I did not want to relent my bound with any Ooni of Ife that assumed the post but everybody has his own little differences.”he said
