BREAKING NEWS: AT LEAST 80 DEAD IN ATTACK IN FRANCE AS TRUCK DRIVER SHOOTS AND PLOW PEOPLE WITH HIS TRUCK.
The truck on Thursday night rammed into the crowd on the Promenade des Anglais seaside walk in the centre of town. At least 100 were wounded in the attack.
Another eyewitness said:
"I was enjoying the Bastille Day fireworks just like thousands of other people at the promenade in Nice," he said. "I was walking back after the fireworks had finished. I looked towards the truck and I thought it was a bit odd, because the roads were shut down and there were hundreds perhaps thousands of people walking along. "But then from the direction of the truck, I started hearing screaming and then people started running. And so I joined all those people in running away from there."
The driver drove for over 2km plowing into people in his way. Eyewitnesses said he drove 30 to 40 miles per hour into the crowd.
The driver was eventually killed by the Police squad. The truck was said to loaded with arms and grenades.
The death toll was initially 73...
French anti terror investigators are currently investigating the incident.

Johnson can still apply to the full court to look at the case again, but the single judge's rejection means he will not receive public funding for the appeal and if it goes through he will have to fund the appeal case from his own pockets.

Colleen fell from Ooh Aah Point last Friday. Park Rangers found her about 400 feet from where she had been standing on the trail.
They announced her death on Monday, July 11.
Shortly before she was found dead, Burns posted an instagram photo and captioned it:
"That view thou"
Park officials told the Associated Press that Burns had been hiking and taking photographs of the sunrise on the trail. She worked as the regional marketing director for Yelp in Orlando.
The National Park Service and the Coconini County Medical Examiner are investigating her death.
