It was gathered attorney Jacqueline McCann filed court documents alleging that Nassar sustained some injuries from when he was assaulted in May, a few hours after being released into the general population at the United States Penitentiary in Tucson, Arizona.
In the court documents, his attorney blamed Nassar’s attack on the Judge, Rosemarie Aquilina, who handed the disgraced doctor his sentencing, claiming the way she oversaw the proceedings empowered inmates to attack him.
He also added:
"Unfortunately, Judge Aquilina’s comments and conducting of the sentencing proceeding appeared to encourage this type of behavior."
