PHOTOS: OVER 3,000 SOLDIERS ARRESTED AND STRIPPED HALF-NAKED AFTER FAILED COUP IN TURKEY.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has refused to rule out the death sentence for the everybody involved in the ill-fated coup on his government. The arrested are believed to appear in court soon.
The civilians really stood by their President after he released a statement on facetime which apparently motivated them to get his government back for him together with the help of the police.
Perhaps the shortest coup in history?!

The army personnels appeared half naked after being stripped of their uniform as they lay on the floor in an indoor basketball court.

Quite a few (in hundreds) judiciary members have been removed since the incidence which left over 280 people dead and even over 1,300 injured.

On Sunday, speaking at a funeral held for some of those killed during the gunfire - including the brother of his Chief Adviser, Mustafa Varank - President Tayyip Erdogan said he did not rule out bringing back the death penalty for the coup's perpetrators.

As the crowd chanted "we want the death penalty," he said, "we can't ignore the people's request in a democracy - this is your right."

"This right has to be evaluated by the appropriate authorities according to the constitution and a decision can be made," Erdogan said in the address broadcast live on TV.

"It's not anything ordinary that my young brothers lay under tank pellets; this is a manifest of faith," Erdogan said.

He also asked supporters to stay on guard.
"You should fill the squares. This isn't a 12-hour operation. We will continue determinedly."

INDIA'S 'GOLD MAN' DATTA PHUGE BEATEN TO DEATH AT A BIRTHDAY PARTY.

An India businessman, Datta Phuge who made headlines in 2013 for buying one of the world's most expensive shirts, a customized gold shirt worth about $240,000 dollars at the time, which was made entirely of gold has been beaten to death in western India, according to a report on Friday.
It was made up of 14,000 of 22-carat gold, weighed 3.32 kilograms (7.3 pounds) and was put together by 15 craftsmen over 16 days.
Phuge was a money lender from Pune in Maharashtra state and was nicknamed, 'Gold Man', a title he cherished.

Police said Phuge, was attacked and killed by 12 assailants armed with stones and sharp weapons on Thursday night after one of the suspects invited him and his son to a birthday party, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI) news agency.
According to local police inspector Navnath Ghogare:

"As per preliminary information, Phuge and his son were invited by one of the suspects, who know each other, to celebrate a birthday. However, we are investigating how Phuge reached the open ground where he was murdered."

Phuge's 22-year-old son watched his father get killed but was spared by the alleged killers, he added, saying that police suspected the motive could have been a dispute over a money transaction.

Four suspects have since been detained.

Phuge loved gold and the fame that came with his shirt.
"Everybody knows me as the 'gold man' in the whole region. Other people spend one crore (10 million rupees) to buy Audis or Mercedes, to buy what they like. What crime have I done? I just love gold," he told AFP in 2013."

"Gold has always been my passion since a young age. I've always worn gold as jewellery in the form of bracelets, chains, he added.

90 PEOPLE DEAD, 1154 INJURED AND 1563 SOLDIERS ARRESTED DURING THE FAILED MILITARY COUP ATTEMPT IN TURKEY

At least 90 people were killed during overnight clashes in capital Ankara following an attempted coup in Turkey. Prime Minister Binali Yildrim said a new acting army chief of staff has been appointed after an attempted coup to topple the democratically elected government.

Turkish President Erdorgan has urged supporters to remain in public squares until situation returns to normal and has informed them that his government is still in charge.

He added that there is still a small disturbance in Ankara, hopefully it will be overcome soon, says Erdorgan.

Defiant Turkish civilians were captured climbing on to tanks and yanking soldiers from their vehicles during the failed coup attempt by the nation's armed forces.

People across the capital of Ankara marched onto the streets to rise up against the army after the military intervention was staged earlier this evening.

President Erdorgan had encouraged people to fight against the military planning the coup by saying:

"They can come with their tanks and cannons and try to show what they can do, we can show the tanks who is powerful."

"Those who are in this illegal act will pay the highest price," he added, saying it would not be correct to describe the move as a "coup".

In a shocking online video groups of Erdorgan supporters were seen pulling soldiers from the turret of their tank and throwing them onto the ground as they chanted in support of the Premier. In another short clip groups of men were seen chanting at soldiers rolling through the streets of the Turkish capital in tanks.

During the coup attempt, some anti-government minds had celebrated military intervention by gathering on the streets and waving Turkish flags. They said they were unhappy about the way President Erdorgan was leading the country towards an Islamic State and the way he tries to trample on religious freedom in the country. After entering the capital soldiers seized the weapons of police units near the presidential palace and there was shooting near the police HQ.

Hostages were apparently being held at the military headquarters in the capital Ankara. Military jets and helicopters circled overhead.

However, Turkey's military have claimed in a statement that they had taken 'full control of government' in order to protect human rights. They said government leaders had been detained and there were reports that the state broadcaster had been stormed.

"Turkish armed forces have completely taken over the administration of the country to reinstate constitutional order, human rights and freedoms, the rule of law and the general security that was damaged," said the statement.

Turkish state news agency reports a death toll of 90 dead people and 1,154 wounded in Turkey coup attempt. The report further states that nearly 1,563 soldiers at the military Headquarters surrendered and have been arrested by the Turkish Government.

BREAKING NEWS: AT LEAST 80 DEAD IN ATTACK IN FRANCE AS TRUCK DRIVER SHOOTS AND PLOW PEOPLE WITH HIS TRUCK.

At least 80 have been killed and over 100 injured in fresh attack in Nice, France... Though the story is still developing but reports and eyewitnesses said a gunman driving a truck started shooting into the crowd of people celebrating the Bastille Day (French Independence Day). An eye witness said he got out of the truck and started shooting at people, got back into the truck and plowed into the crowd killing several other people.

The truck on Thursday night rammed into the crowd on the Promenade des Anglais seaside walk in the centre of town. At least 100 were wounded in the attack.

Another eyewitness said:

"I was enjoying the Bastille Day fireworks just like thousands of other people at the promenade in Nice," he said. "I was walking back after the fireworks had finished. I looked towards the truck and I thought it was a bit odd, because the roads were shut down and there were hundreds perhaps thousands of people walking along. "But then from the direction of the truck, I started hearing screaming and then people started running. And so I joined all those people in running away from there."

The driver drove for over 2km plowing into people in his way. Eyewitnesses said he drove 30 to 40 miles per hour into the crowd.

The driver was eventually killed by the Police squad. The truck was said to loaded with arms and grenades.

The death toll was initially 73...

French anti terror investigators are currently investigating the incident.
