JAPAN: Japanese Pop Star in critical health condition after crazy fan stabs her 20 times

Japanese Pop Star, Mayu Tomita was stabbed more than twenty times by a crazy fan named Tomohiro Iwazaki, who felt hurt after she returned the watch he gifted her. According to reports, 20-year-old Mayu was stabbed in the neck and chest dozens of times, just as she was about to go on stage at a concert in Koganei, Tokyo. GET WELL MAYU TOMITA.

Tomohiro (pictured above) who was arrested after he was found at the scene holding a bloody knife, told Police that he lost his temper with her after she returned a watch he sent as a gift and could not give a suitable reason.

She had weeks earlier reported the man to the police after constant online harassment and is currently unconscious, fighting for her life in a hospital.

TERRORISM: Kaduna Refinery reportedly shut down following renewed attacks on oil facilities in Niger Delta

Following the renewed attacks by some militants on oil facilities in the Niger Delta region, the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) has reportedly stopped production. According to Leadership, the refinery stopped production last week Tuesday. A source at the refinery said

"We have shut down production for now. We do not have crude supply. I am sure it is due to the renewed militancy in the Niger Delta region. We will resume production as soon as we started getting crude supply from the Niger Delta. We are ready and our equipment are functional, the only problem now is the crude".

With wide spread speculations that LvG will be replaced by sacked Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho, the Dutch man has arrived MUFC's Carrington ground to learn fate if he's to stay on as Red Devils' boss or sacked. LvG lead the Red Devils to their 1st FA cup glory in over a decade defeating The Eagles (Crystal Palace) 2-1.

If United are to make a change, it is believed that an official announcement would only come after 14:00BST in order for the statement to be made during trading hours on the New York Stock Exchange, on which United shares are traded.

FOOTBALL: SOURCE: MAN CITY & DORTMUND AGREE TO €26M GUNDOGAN DEAL

Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund have agreed to a €26 million ($29M) deal for midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, Goal UK reports.

The Germany international's agent was pictured meeting City sporting director Txiki Begiristain in March as it became apparent that the Blues had pulled ahead of Juventus and Barcelona, who had previously shown their interest. City and Dortmund continued to haggle over the price in the interim, but have finally settled on a €26 million deal that will be bolstered by performance-related add-ons.

A dislocated knee cap has ruled Gundogan out of Germany's Euro 2016 campaign and will keep him on the sidelines throughout preseason, but City has pushed ahead with the move.
Pep Guardiola will officially take over on July 1.
